Notes

At Apple Cottage you will feel immersed in historic Frome, while holidaying in a stylish modern home. ‘Cyril’s Fruiterer and Grocer’ shop formerly stood on this spot, until the building was lovingly rebuilt in the 1990s, with Cherry Cottage just next door.

Enter the cottage through the front door, and you will be greeted by a modern light-filled kitchen. This space is fully equipped with all-new amenities, so that you can cook up a homemade family feast or romantic dinner with ease. Breakfast at your leisure while seated by the rebuilt shop window, and watch the world go by on Vallis Way.

At the back of the cottage you will find a generously sized living room, with two sumptuous sofas on which to recline while treating yourself to a Netflix box set, or an engrossing read. There is also ample room here for kids (of all ages!) to enjoy the games and toys provided in the house.

Patio doors at the back of the living room help to bring the outside in, and give you easy access to a secluded Mediterranean-style garden complete with barbeque, where the children can burn off some energy, and the adults can sip on sundowners on a balmy Frome evening.

Upstairs are two good-sized double bedrooms, which can accommodate two couples or a family very comfortably. A travel cot is also available for family use. Fresh linen on comfy new mattresses ensures a good night’s sleep for all, and little quirky interior details lend a contemporary feel. The bright family bathroom is supplied with every convenience for a relaxing stay, with towels, soap and a baby bath provided. A homely country cottage to savour while enjoying the vibrant delights of historic Frome.

Notes on our cleaning procedures For your comfort and peace of mind we are spending an extra hour at each property prior to arrival, to ensure all touch surfaces are disinfected in line with government recommendations (see here). All sheets and towels are laundered thoroughly at high temperatures with quality non-biological laundry soap.

Although you can’t park directly in front of the property there is a large free car park to the rear which always has spaces and can fit for any size of vehicle. The roads around the property are free road parking too. Plenty of options.
