Notes

The property is recently renovated with no expense spared. Solid oak and slate floor, thoughtful lighting details and beautifully restored original features. There are two sitting rooms, one dedicated to the children with books and games, plus Apple iMac with internet access for Netflix and DVD. The other a grown-up space to enjoy a glass of wine, play music on the Bluetooth speaker, read or to watch Virgin TV or a film on Netflix. There is a wonderfully light dining space to seat 6, with open ceiling up to the glass roof above the first floor flooding the area with light. For families there is a high chair with baby safe attachment (suitable to 5). There is a well-stocked kitchen with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and condensing dryer. Plus cafetière, Big Berkeley water filter, Sage juicer and unbreakable plates and bowls for little ones. The wow factor continues upstairs with three characterful bedrooms, each with premium quilts, pillows and crisp white linens. Let the eye wander from these tranquil rooms to the view beyond and the exquisite stonework detail of the chapel. The bathroom is endlessly chic, fluffy white towels and with a glass ceiling to star gaze while taking a well-earned soak in the large bathtub. Need to send an email? There is office space on the mezzanine with French doors that open up to established garden with raised beds and grassed area for picnics. Step out of the front door and you are at the epicentre of this trendy market town. Head a little further out and you have amazing walks, stunning views, ambling rivers, and enough English Heritage to warrant return trips!
